'Oviri'...bungalows

Oviri lodge offers two different bungalows ("ho’e" and "piti") with beautiful sea sight on the lagoon and access to the private white sand beach. Bungalows are made in Polynesian style of natural materials. Designed and entirely made by the owners with love and creativity, just between rusticity and sophistication. For the respect of you intimacy, the bungalows are far from each other. Maybe you will be lucky to see manta rays or dolphins who often come fishing in the bay. Original design: the owners wanted to keep the wild aspect of the site by using local wood essences (bamboos, goyavier, maru maru, falcate and purau) and garden rocks; the bungalows are situated in nature. The roofs are planted with flowers and green plants giving a comfortable temperature inside the bungalow.

Bungalows

They are for one to three persons with:

• Comfortable double bedroom with mosquito net and fan
• Lounge with single bed, mosquito net
• Equipped kitchen (fridge, micro wave, Italian coffee maker, gas hob, dishes)
• Spaced bathroom (with hand made wood sink in Piti bungalow)
• Private toilette (with panoramic see sight on the forest and lagoon in the Piti bungalow)
• Hot water with sun heater
• Terrace and
• Safety box

"Fare pote’e" information room

This is the central point of the lodge. Meeting place, relax room with fantastic point of view on the lagoon and the garden. A hammock will rock you while observing dolphins. Lots of fruit trees around the lodge, depending on the season you’ll taste the fruits (lime, Polynesian grape fruit, papaya, bread fruit, avocado, …..) Internet access, public phone with a listing of numbers you might need in order to book you activity.

When going to the white sand beach, you can lie on a deck chair or in the shade with your feet in the water. For people coming by boat and wish having a rest in the lodge we have a free mooring available. Oviri lodge belongs to host lodge category; we provide you bungalows on our private domain which means our services are different from hotel or family pension. Our desk is open from 7h30 to 11h00 for your request but most information is available in your bungalow or in the welcome area.
